Moving Ahead operates our own private storage facility with offices located at 101 Fifth Avenue, Garden City Park, NY, 11040; centrally located in Nassau County, NY. Moving into storage has never been easier or more secure. We carefully wrap and inventory your belongings then move and store them in individual storage containers. Our facility is climate controlled with a state of the art sprinkler system. Additional safety is maintained with our 24 hour central station security system, complete with indoor and outdoor video surveillance cameras. From a few weeks to long term storage, we have a solution custom fit to your needs.       

If you find yourself in need of temporary overnight storage, our facility is perfect for you. Your belongings remain locked in our truck with the truck doors secured by keyed industrial locks. We place individually serial numbered sheet metal ribbon seals on each door of the truck. You are given the serial numbers for all seals, and then are asked to check them at delivery. The moving truck simply cannot be opened without removing these seals. Additionally, the entire truck is backed INTO our warehouse, and stored overnight inside our safe, secure facility. This provides additional security compared to most on truck overnight storage, which in most cases those trucks are left outside, subject to the weather elements and the neighborhood conditions.
